At the Woods at Millikin, our staff is very familiar with the marketplace and we can make the leasing process easy and we are able to answer any question.
Professional Management and Maintenance Staff
At the Woods at Millikin, we’re always on duty. We have a true 24-hour maintenance service. You are able to request and receive maintenance 24 hours a day. Our maintenance department has many years of experience in making sure the job gets done and it’s done right. When you call our office to request service, you will get to speak with an experienced staff member. Our maintenance technicians all take pride in the work they do and are eager to make your home more comfortable for you. You also have the convenience of placing work orders right from your resdient portal!
Rent Payments
The Woods does not collect rent payments. All rent charges will appear on your student's MyMillikin account along with their tution and fees. You will see charges for rent starting July 1st for the Fall semester and January 1st for the Spring semester. Make sure to send all rent payments to Millikin or pay on your student's MyMillikin account instead of sending it to The Woods office. The only payments you will make to The Woods will be for the security deposit or if there are any billings that we will have to charge for each apartment. Make sure to contact our office with any questions regarding security deposits. Safety and Security
The Woods at Millikin is an access controlled gated property that requires key fobs to enter and exit the property. This also includes the free parking lot. All students are issued their own key fob in order to navigate through the property as well as the amenity spaces (computer lab, fitness center, theater room, clubhouse and swimming pool area). Security officers patrol the community nightly 7 days a week!
Fully Furnished
No need for renting a U-Haul or borrowing a friend’s truck. All of our apartments come furnished with living room furniture including a 50” - 55" flat panel HDTV, all kitchen appliances plus microwave as well as a washer and dryer in the units. All bedrooms include full-sized loft style beds with plenty of storage plus a closet organizer to help with your organization. All you need to bring are your personal items and decorations to create your own unique space.
