As you may be aware, the CCIW and Millikin University have announced the suspension of Fall sports. Due to this change, The Woods at Millikin will be adjusting the move-in schedule to minimize the number of students returning to campus prior to classes beginning without athletic engagement. With the safety of our residents in mind, we would like to continue to follow a more spaced out move-in timeline. Please find your apartment on the updated schedule below.

Prior to arrival, students will be required to watch the orientation video. The video can be found Here. Please coordinate with all roommates to arrive around the same time on your scheduled move-in date. Only the first person picking up keys will receive the common area inspection form. Shortly after the first person has received keys, a Woods staff member will meet you at your apartment to go over any questions you may have, in addition to making sure you are satisfied with the condition of your unit. If all residents would like to be present for this, they will need to arrive around the same time. Please visit the housing icon on your MyMillikin account to view and connect with roommates.
COVID-19 Reminders and Guidelines:
Check-in and key pick-up will be located outside in the Woods courtyard near the front entrance to the Woods. Please allow for residents only at the key pick-up tent to reduce crowding. Special markings will be provided in front of the tent.
The Woods at Millikin will be following Millikin’s Campus Safety Plan for Students. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Face Masks must be worn at all times in common areas and all on-site amenities.
- Stay at least six feet from others at all times.
- Stay out of crowded places; no larges gatherings will be permitted.
- Greet individuals without handshakes.
- Wash your hands and sanitize often.
- Elevator capacity is limited to 1 person at a time.
