Move-in day is coming soon! We are excited and ready for your arrival! To better serve you, we have scheduled move-in dates before your lease begins. The schedule below has your apartment’s scheduled date for check-in and key pick-up.
With your safety in mind, The Woods has taken extra precautions this year to follow CDC recommendations for safety precautions regarding Covid-19, including social distancing. Check-in and key pick-up will be located outside in the Woods courtyard near the front entrance to the Woods. Please park inside the Woods complex upon arrival, the parking gates will be open. The check-in process will also consist of signing for receipt of the Woods Policy Book and receiving move-in inspection forms to be returned to our office within 24 hours. After the check-in, a staff member will meet you at your new apartment. Please coordinate with all your roommates to arrive around the same time as the staff member will be sent shortly after the first resident check’s in. Prior to arrival, students will be required to watch an orientation video. This video will be sent to all residents and posted on The Woods Facebook, Instagram and website no later than July 23, 2020 (@thewoodsatmillikin).
Can’t make your assigned date? No Problem! You can call the office at 217-464-8635 to reschedule your appointment for August 21, 2020.
Remember, your lease does NOT begin until Friday, August 21, 2020, however as a courtesy we are allowing apartments to move-in a few days early! Very Important: Your account must have a zero-dollar balance, if there is an outstanding balance due to the Security Deposit or missing Guaranty Forms (co-signer), it will delay your move-in experience.
